A newly-initiated monthly series of informal showings of works in
progress. Primarily for artists working in the interdisciplinary medium
of puppetry, the Soirees also welcome artists in other mediums who wish
to get feedback from our puppeteer/visual artist community. Artists of
many ages and levels of experience show and respond to work, in
conversations facilitated by Great Small Works.

DETAILS: We are now experimenting
with a two-tier Slam presence. The first, our long-standing Spaghetti
Dinner where new work can be presented for a supportive, critical New
York audience. The second, our just-born Soiree, where works in
progress can be shown in very raw stages of development.
